Read what our clients said about this Tour!
Classic Grand Touring is proud to be the official tour operator for the Algarve Historic Festival. We were present at the inaugural event and are very enthusiastic to return for many years to come. We work closely with the event organiser so that you are looked after and that you get the best possible access throughout the weekend.
Our driving tour incorporates the Brittany ferries route to Santander departing from Plymouth on the way out and arriving back in to Portsmouth on the way home. The routes through Spain and Portugal range from the wonderful Picos de Europa Mountains in the North to the flat empty plains found as you head further South. You will be amazed just how good the Spanish roads are and how little traffic there is at this time of year.
We stay in a mixture of historic Parador hotels in Spain, Pousadas in Portugal and a luxury resort near the Portimao circuit.
Sunday 14 October
Meet at Plymouth for the 1530 cruise ferry to Santander. Comfortable on board accommodation is included and once settled in there is plenty of time to get to know one another before dinner.

We will have lunch included at the circuit today in the drivers club lounge where we can continue to watch the action from. Your race tickets are included to gain you access to the paddock and grandstands. You can then return to the hotel as you wish which is just a 25 minute drive away. This evening is free to enjoy as you wish.
Sunday 21 October
You can make your way to the circuit as you wish to enjoy the racing. Grids expected to be there are the Motor Racing Legends, Historic Formula One, HGPCA and other support races. If past years are anything to go by the quality and quantity of the grids is something to behold.
