This event has to be one of our firm favourites, 2013 will be our 20th consecutive year at Angouleme and we are taking steps to make this a special landmark. We may have seen many changes over the years but the ethos remains the same. This truly classic event is as much about its social aspects as it is the cars! The whole weekend is packed with events starting with a concours d’Elegance, a rally through the Cognac vineyards, a gala buffet in the impressive covered market and of course the racing on the city’s ramparts.
We are pleased to announce in 2013 our approval as the unique tour operator for the event. Not only does this give us access to the best tickets at the best prices but also the possibility of benefits such as paddock hospitality and rooms at the best hotel in town.

Five night all inclusive tour
Based on Hotel Mercure in centre of Angoulême
Wednesday 18th September
The tour starts in Portsmouth where we have arranged special loading for our cars on the overnight sailing to St Malo. Aboard get to know your fellow rally companions as the ship sets sail. Your onboard accommodation is included.
Thursday 19th September
On arrival into France follow our suggested routes on pretty roads via a coffee and croissant stop overlooking the lake at Combourg. We then continue to Loué famous for its poultry for a lunch of some of the finest chicken in the world. We then take a cross country route to our overnight stay at the ex-Aston Martin Team hotel at La Chartre sur le Loir. We will have a welcome party with local wine producers in the square in front of the hotel upon arrival. This evening dinner is included at the hotel.
Friday 20th September
After breakfast at the hotel, we have a very pretty drive down past Tours and through the Vienne valley, with a suggested coffee and lunch stop in one of the region’s prettiest villages. Having checked in to your chosen hotel in Angouleme we will distribute your rally packs and tickets during a private drinks reception. Tonight is a free evening there is also the Concours d’Elegance to see.
Saturday 21st September
This morning the touring rally (for eligible cars) departs on some very fine roads surrounding Angoulême. There are checkpoint/refreshment points along the way and an excellent lunch taken at a surprise location. This evening you have tickets for the competitor’s gala buffet in the covered market, where the prizes for the Concours and the rally are announced.
Sunday 22nd September
Today practice takes place on the circuit during the morning sessions. We have a VIP area available for you to use today by the paddock where we will serve refreshments and a place to relax. Your race tickets will get you into the paddock and we can supply a numbered seat in the best grandstand. This evening we have organised a finale dinner at a top restaurant in the town.
Monday 23rd September
After breakfast travel back to the port in Caen for the 1630 Hrs ferry back to Portsmouth or request if you prefer your crossing on the overnight ferry from Caen.
