Saturday 11^th May

This tour starts at Folkestone for our Eurotunnel crossing; we have an easy run on the first day to our charming chateau hotel situated in the heart of Champagne country. This evening we will have a welcome dinner which is included.

Sunday 12^th May

After breakfast at the hotel we will head across country onto the pretty routes through the Champagne region with a stop at the former GP Circuit of Reims/ Gueux for a photo opportunity and chance to re-trace the old circuit layout in your own car. We stay overnight in the heart of Burgundy with fine gastronomy & wines included.

Monday 13^th May

After breakfast we head through the Jura towards the Swiss Alpes. Lunch today can be taken en route and we will arrive at our famous four star hotel with magnificent views overlooking Lake Leman. Dinner at the hotel with local wines is included this evening.

Tuesday 14^th May

Today we will pick the best available routes crossing those Cols (passes) accessible to us as we head into Italy and our hotel in a dramatic situation overlooking Lake Iseo. Dinner at the hotel is included in their excellent restaurant.

Wednesday 15^th May

Today is a car free day. After breakfast we will be taken by bus to the lakeside to board our private boat for a lake trip and a rather special lunch on the main island. This evening we have organized a light supper and wine tasting overlooking the lake.

Thursday 16^th May

Today we will also leave our cars at the hotel and will be taken by bus to Brescia for the unique start of the Mille Miglia following scrutineering. You can spend all the time you wish mingling with the entrants and their cars thronging the old streets in the town centre before we enjoy a sumptuous lunch in one of Brescia’s finest restaurants.  As the 350+ teams of competitors leave the starting  point in the early evening we will convene in a bar on the route to watch them all pass by before returning to the hotel.

Friday 17^th May

Today after breakfast we check out of the hotel and head south to follow parts of the historic route of the Mille Miglia. Lunchtime is again free today and we are finishing at a delightful country hotel situated in Tuscany. Dinner is included at the hotel this evening.

Saturday 18^th May

Today the competitors make their way north passing the Futa and Raticosa passes where we will intercept their route. We have a famous historic restaurant on the route booked for those that wish to stop there. We will then drive on to the famous city of Modena to our delightful family-run hotel for dinner at the excellent restaurant adjoining it.

Sunday 19^th May 

Today we start travelling north into the Dolomites, through the most spectacular Alpine scenery on wonderful driving roads, to our hotel where there are beautiful spa facilities with relaxation guaranteed. A typical dinner of the Merano region will be served to us this evening in the hotel restaurant.

Monday 20^th May

After breakfast the hotel we will again carefully plot our mountain driving route based on the roads and passes currently open to us. We will stay in the Swiss mountains once more this evening with dinner included at the hotel.

Tuesday 21^st May

After Breakfast at the hotel we travel back into France for our final overnight stay at a magnificent Chateau in Alsace. We will celebrate a memorable experience with a farewell dinner party this evening.

Wednesday 22^nd May

Today we continue back to Calais for the Eurotunnel.
