24th May – 31st May 2016
The Grand Prix de Pau Historique remains one of our favourites on the Historic Motor racing calendar. A lovely old city with thrilling views of the Pyrenees, this is the oldest and most exciting of the remaining street circuits and provides great racing and a convivial atmosphere. Our central hotel is and adjacent to the track, with excellent parking.

Friday 27th May
Today we have suggested a pleasant route down to Pau, with a characterful lunch stop at a wonderful ferme auberge in Gascony.
We arrive at our central hotel in Pau in time to explore the old town and wander the numerous but intensely ’French styled’ pop up bars in the Boulevard d’Aragon. If we so wish we can take up the Mayor’s personal invitation to park our cars in the ‘Place Royale’, to form a static display under the watchful eye of overnight security.

We can advise about restaurants etc.
